PLEASE share with me how this hits home for you (for any of my posts), how it connects/intersects with your life and your story. Please share your own experiences and thoughts. I want to build engagement and community with my content. 

A bit of an introductory from me to you: 

I am 28, I’ll be 29 in December and I have had a pretty great life. Some may even say incredible. 

I’ve had loving parents, good friends, I serve an awesome God, I’ve had more opportunities than most in my life (lots because of my mom’s endurance and desire to take part in the community + my dad’s financing). 

I have had (I think) 2 blogs in the past. One was with Wix and one was with WordPress. They were both when I was in high school or before (that’s been a minute (about 10 years)). 

I have given speeches and demonstrations. I won at nationals (this was through 4-H). I thought about being a writer, motivational speaker, chef, pastor, spiritual guide, honestly I have wanted to do a LOT OF things. We all may be able to raise our hands at this point. We can want all we want, there has to be action (from ourselves or others) which leads me to this post (I am taking action). 

Why I have started this blog: 

I lost my dad  (Aug 22) & husband (Sept 19) 4 weeks apart. We will get into details. But it is two different kinds of losses. As you will learn. 

This space that I am creating will be to share the journey of my life in all authenticity while also being respectful to some private matters (for my heart’s sake) due to what I have lived through. 

What I want from you: 

I am glad you are here.

Future plans: 

I’m hoping to also start a podcast and a store. The future is bright with many possibilities! Let’s keep our heads up
