Here to talk

I am here to talk with you. I am not a licensed mental health professional. I am not a therapist by degree, though I have been told by thousands of people I should be a counselor. I am a good listener. And I really tune in to see what is going on inside of your heart and mind.

We are all going through something. We all have problems. It is too much at times. Sometimes we feel we have no one and nothing. Or even if we do have tons of friends it seems like we have no friends. There is a reason for that. It is destructive thinking. We just need to rewire 🙂

Sometimes the centre battlefield is our minds. We think we are unfinished, incomplete, not beautiful, not hot, not attractive, not good enough, not successful…a lot of these thinking patterns stems from the idea of being centre on success, achievement, “I did this” thinking. When we shift gears to no longer make business and money central, but rather who really are we center that is a game changer.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am made in the image of God.

I belong to the king of kings and lord of lords.

I have sanctuary with the creator of the universe.

^^^These statements are something a lot of people do not tell themselves every day. Often times we neglect to read the word of God and worship our maker. The sadness, anxiety, pain, and most of humanity’s issues stem from not being in relationship with God. When I lay down my sadness at the feet of God and say, “You are more able to handle this than I am, take it.” And then I leave the sadness there that is a game changer.

When I tell God, “Lord you knew me before my parents and you had plans for me before they started to form plans” I am giving my purpose back to God. I am saying, you do have plans for me. When I submit to his will, his timing, and his plans that is a game changer.

If you go to the internet and type in “scripture verses for God having plans for me” twenty come up. There are 66 books of the Bible, written in different languages, converted to be read by all peoples, these books can give us hope, encouragement, grace, guidance, insight. The list goes on and on. When we try to rely on our own understand we will always fall short. When we rely on God’s perfect will we will never be let down. He cares and loves us.

When my dad passed away, I did not get mad and ask God, “Why?” It is not mine to ask. When some people are healed and others are not I do not ask why, I continue to pray, “Your will be done.” There are spiritual battlegrounds we can not see. And when we pray in faith asking for the father’s will we break through reality into a spiritual realm that touches eternity.

I hope this reading has helped you.

We all struggle, and if you want to talk to someone I am here. I would be happy to communicate by phone call, text, or email. I know that God works all things together for those that love him. Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Paul wrote this. And I know if Saul can be Paul (by the grace of God) our identity and purpose can be used for God too.
